Our story so far:Sharon, Dionne and representatives from Kerry CCC met with Marian Quinn, ACP Chairperson, on 8th August 2013 to discuss the need for an ACP in Kerry and what would be involved. It was decided to hold a public meeting to elicit interest.
This public meeting was held on the 9th October and there was a great turn out. The changing nature of our profession was discussed and it was decided that we need to stand up and be counted so as to ensure that our profession is valued and respected by all policy makers and by society in general. If we do not unite then we will continue to be disempowered in our own profession. Nobody is going to come and listen to us but by forming ACP Kerry we can become part of a national movement that represents our voice at all relevant discussions. We met on 20th November 2013 and elected our inaugural council. Members details will be listed on this page shortly. 
Thanks to all who attended our meeting on the 19th. Great discussions were had on the night.
