Protest and Transport Details

General
This is a family friendly protest and the top priority on the day is to keep everyone safe.
Please take direction from the guards and also from the stewards who will be wearing orange high-vis-vests
If possible wear red and bring suitable posters/placards. Suggested slogans include:
- Quality Costs, Invest Now!
- Children Matter, Early Years Educators Matter
- Valuing Us is Valuing Children
- Pay us our Worth
- Invest in our Future
- We support children and families, please support us
- We Deserve Fair Pay
- We are entitled to be respected and valued
- Show Us Respect
- A fair system for children, families and early years professionals
- We deserve dignity at work

What do I need to do
1. Click here to register your attendance
2. Click here to sign the petition (make sure to share with your colleagues, family, friends, etc)
3. Make your banner
4. Wear red if possible
5. Spread the word and invite your colleagues, family, friends, elected representatives and candidates
6. Share on social media using the hashtag #OneUnitedVoice

Assembly
When: Wednesday 5th February 2020
What time: 11.30am
Where: Parnell Square North, Dublin 1

Marching to
Merrion Square, Dublin 2 (by Government Buildings)
Protest to finish by 2pm (approximately)

Travelling by Coach
Coaches should drop protesters off at Western Way, Dublin 1
Protesters should then walk towards Granby Row, turning left onto Parnell Square North, Dublin 1
Coaches can park at the NTA Coach Park, Dublin Docklands during the protest
Protesters should arrange pick up time and location with the bus driver. Wilton Terrace, Dublin 2, between 2.30-3.30pm, is recommended

Travelling by LUAS
Protesters can take the Green Line LUAS to Parnell Street and walk to Parnell Square

Travelling by Car
There are two car parks on Parnell Street
- Ilac Shopping Centre Car Park
- Parnell Car Park
There are LUAS Park and Rides at the Red Cow (M50/N7) and Cheeverstown (N7)

Travelling by Train
Connolly Station and then walk to Parnell Square
Heuston Station, taking LUAS to Abbey Street and when walk to Parnell Square
